Mozilla is launching a Firefox browser update today, claiming it’s much faster than Chrome. To celebrate the occasion (and to help get the word out) they’re offering a free fast ferry between Greenpoint and Manhattan with donuts and free coffee, plus live music on the later ferry on November 16th. More details below:
On November 14th, we’re shipping the new Firefox. It’s twice as fast as Firefox was just a year ago, getting people to what they love faster. To celebrate, we’ll be taking over a fast ferry in NYC to get people to what they love (or where they work) faster IRL for free!
The ferry will shuttle riders between Pier 15 in lower Manhattan and Greenpoint, Brooklyn every 30 minutes from 7-11am and 4-8pm Tuesday through Thursday
There will be free coffee, snacks, and some special rides.
Need to free your mind real fast, too? Sah D’Simone from Maha Rose will be providing guided meditation rides:
Nov 14: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Nov 15: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Nov 16: 8:00 am – 10:00 am
