Hygge: A Sunday Guide to Cozy.

By now we’ve all heard of “Hygge.” Pronounced like “hue-guh,” not “higg-ee” as I originally thought, it was last year’s big buzzword. It’s a Danish word that’s used when acknowledging a feeling or moment that is particularly cozy. Last week I was sick with a cold (and without heat!) and ALL I wanted to do was HYGGE THE EFF UP. (That’s totally not how the word is supposed to be used. Sorry.) And so that’s what I did. I took baths every night, did face masks, slathered my body in comforting oils, lit candles in every room of my apartment, snuggled up under three or four blankets at a time, and got really, really cozy. Writing this makes being sick not sound all that bad but it was still pretty brutal. Here are some of my favorite Hygge products… all things I own, use, and love this time of year.

Wishing you a very “Hygge” Sunday, friends!
