The pop-up vintage clothing store under the Sunnyside Arch has closed up shop, ending a short three-month run in the neighborhood.

Violet’s Volition and Bliss, the name of the now-closed boutique on 45-06 46th St., opened late September, and featured curated items like vintage housewares, accessories, and handmade jewelry.

Rebecca Vicars, who also goes by the name Violet, closed the store on Dec. 28.

“Feeling so very full of gratitude and awe as we closed up the Bliss pop up today,” Vicars, 43, wrote on Instagram. “What a beautiful experience it has been to serve the neighborhood of Sunnyside…” she added.

A sign posted at the shop’s window encourages patrons to follow the vintage boutique on social media for new location updates.

Vicars, who has lived in Sunnyside for the past 10 years, has opened several pop-up vintage boutiques over the years, including some in Williamsburg. She hoped at the time of opening the 46th Street pop up that it would pave the way to become a full-time shop.

Vicars was not immediately available to comment on the pop-up’s closure.

The 580-square-foot site was previously occupied by Happy Photo, the custom framing and passport-photo provider.
