The Peoples Wants the Fall of the Regime! End Family Separation & Illegal Occupation! #ABOLISHICE

Below is an officially released transcript from Patricia Okoumou, 45, of the Congo, famously crowned Lady Liberty after scaling the Statue in legal protest and demonstration to End Family Separation and #ABOLISHICE. Okoumou is of the Congo, and has since immigrated to the States as a freedom fighter. She is a liberationist and professional community organizer and developer, with RISE AND RESIST. She has been freed from Municipal Detention, after The Resistance’s action, RHIYA TRIVEDI’s legal consult and advocacy, and public demand. And this afternoon, in front of Manhattan, New York City, this is what this proud Afro woman, this ankh and legba, had to say:
Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for being here. It’s been a rough 24 hours for me and some of you. I want to thank RISE AND RESIST [Cheers from them ], for their dedication in the work that they do; for their support for equality and social justice.
I am from the Republic of Congo. I came in this country 1994. I also want to thank the United States Park Police, most specifically officer Dallas Angel [(sp?)]. They’ve been very wonderful to me; I’m talking about, respect courtesy, professionalism. The NYPD can learn from them, the United States Park Police.
Michelle Obama, our beloved First Lady that I care so much about, said that ‘When they go low, we go high’, and I went as high as I could. [Cheering] Trump has ripped this country apart. It is depressing, it is outrageous. I can say a lot about this monster but I will stop at this,
(minute 3:21) His Draconian Zero Tolerance Policy on immigration has to go. In a democracy, we do not whip children, we do not put children in cages, period.
There is no debating it. Nothing you can say to me will justify putting children in cages.
Only an unintelligent coward, and insecure (I will add, in mania), will rip a tender-aged child from their mother. Reunite the children now. *Raises fist*
Thank you ladies and gentlemen. [Cheering]
