Broome County, NY receives $300,000 to support small businesses
Here at Supplierty News, we try our best to promote opportunities for small businesses both far and wide. Today we want to highlight two areas that will be receiving funding support in the near future. The first is Broome County, New York, an area with just over 200,000 residents.
According to the Binghamton Homepage, “The Agency in partnership with Broome County is putting forward a new initiative” to launch a $300,000 fund for local small businesses. Eligible companies can look to receive up to $50,000 if selected for the program. The initiative will be based on a first come, first served basis, but nonetheless could be an excellent opportunity for businesses in the area to inject cash and expand in the area.
Offers around $50,000 or less are hard to come by, but can be instrumental in a startup or growing business. While many banks look for the whales of the ocean, these type of loans are absolutely necessary to double a company with one or two employees and establish a base foundation to expand.
Good luck to those companies that qualify for the program and hopefully this is an opportunity to create more sustainable jobs in Broome County.
