If you’re a fan of New York City publicist Don Draper, the protagonist of AMC’s hit series Mad Men, then you might want to check out a new RV trailer that’s inspired by and is even named after him.
The Draper trailer is a creation of US-based company Land Ark RV, which has just released the model on the market. With its mid-century modern design and neutral palette, the Draper offers “a functional layout in a sophisticated package,” as the company describes it.
While the trailer is best suited for an individual or a couple, it can actually sleep up to four people – two in the sleeping loft and two in the convertible sofa. The whole Draper is 300 sq ft of space, including a large hardwood deck accessible from the sliding patio door – the deck can, of course, be raised and closed for transport. Other features include a custom-designed oak ladder that leads up into the loft, a compact ladder with a full-size shower, and a lot of windows to let in as much natural light as possible.
The Draper isn’t the only trailer that tries to evoke the Sixties in its design and decor – the Holiday House, for example, has integrated modern comforts into vintage appliances and you can read more about it here.
The Draper is on the market for a starting price of US$144,900 (around €127,696) and production times are currently three to four months. If you’d like to know more about it and its specifics, you can visit its page on the official website.
