LUNAR NEW YEAR AT BROOKFIELD
A Lunar New Year Celebration presented by Arts Brookfield and New York Chinese Cultural Center (NYCCC) will be held at Brookfield Place’s Winter Garden on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 2 to 3:15p, welcoming the Year of the Pig. There will be a Lion Parade, a face-changing artist, martial arts, traditional Chinese music and dancing, and NYCCC’s signature Ribbon Dance.

SING ALONG WITH MARY AND BERT
Can’t decide if this will be fun or torture: The Schimmel Center at Pace will host a sing-along screening of Mary Poppins – the 1964 version – at 4 on Sunday, Feb. 10. Tickets are $20. Pre-Screening activities begin at 3, which include games, prizes and a meet-and-greet with local actors playing Mary Poppins and Bert. This movie won five Academy Awards!! (It was a different era.)
