Lady Gaga has been busy. Having just scooped two Grammys and an Oscar for ‘Shallow’ from A Star Is Born, she’s now taking Las Vegas by storm with an ambitious extended residency that includes two different shows.
Running now at Park MGM’s Park Theater in Las Vegas, the ENIGMA and JAZZ & PIANO shows see the artist presenting her diverse talents to throngs of visitors from all over the world. ENIGMA features big production performances of the energetic pop hits that made Lady Gaga a household name, while the latter is a stripped back take on the tracks alongside music from the Great American Songbook. Some tickets even include both performances. The shows have proven incredibly popular, with tickets selling fast. Currently, tickets are still available for select shows running until November 2019.
Other much-anticipated events include Bruno Mars at Park Theatre (an extended run is taking place from April to September) and Janet Jackson (who is there from May to August). Aerosmith will also perform at the same venue, with 18 performances between 6 April and 9 July. The Park will also be the venue for pop star Britney Spear’s 32-show residency between February and August. Other Las Vegas residencies include Cher and Mariah Carey, while tickets for the final shows of Celine Dion’s extended stay at the Colosseum Caesars Palace are still available from now until June.
Park MGM recently unveiled On The Record, a brand new club designed to have the look and feel of a record shop. As well as that, January saw the opening of 40,000-square-feet Italian retail and dining experience Eataly, which boasts two restaurants, six takeaway counters, a café and three bars. The recent openings are the final stage of a two-year $550 million development in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
