Facetime: Glowbar coming to Duane Street

30

F. spotted the new storefront above at the former Ibiza at 147 Duane, which closed last July. From what I can see by sniffing around Instagram and LinkedIn, it’s a brand new skincare company founded by Rachel Liverman and Neha Govindraj scheduled to open its doors in about a month. This from Rachel: “Fueled by my grandmother who founded the first accredited esthetics school in the country, I am helping people take care of their skin.” More TK, but in the meantime, just taking a count of the skincare businesses in the neighborhood. I can think of Tribeca MedSpa, Tribeca Spa of Tranquility, Skin Laundry and Heyday; then I checked Google and found Tribeca Beauty Spa, Tulura, Shibui in the Greenwich Hotel, Rowena Woo Facials, Plaza M, Eden Med Spa… Who did I miss? And is that even possible?
