The incident took place just after 8:30 a.m., according to the MTA, when a female passenger getting off of a northbound train slipped, and her feet became caught between the platform and train. She was removed by police.
An FDNY spokesperson said the passenger was treated at the train platform.
Naturally, service was delayed as first responders were on the scene—but the 4 and 5 trains are moving again:
Hi David – we had a customer injury on a train at Fulton St so we needed to turn that 5 train around to provide additional northbound service. We apologize for the inconvenience and are sorry this wasn’t well explained in the moment. ^SS
