4 Homeless Men Found Beaten To Death In Chinatown
Four men were killed in Chinatown early Saturday morning, while another was critically injured. The victims were all homeless, and police have a suspect, also believed to be homeless, in custody.
Just before 2 a.m., police were called to Bowery and Doyers, where they found two men who had been beaten. PIX 11 reports, “When they arrived, police found a man with trauma to his head, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.” The other man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital .
Two hours later, three other men were found dead on East Broadway, two outside 2 East Broadway and another outside 17 East Broadway. “They all had head trauma from apparently being struck with a metal object of some kind,” according to NBC New York.

Officers responding to the scene at East Broadway, the Post reports, “spotted the alleged killer — who was holding a three foot long, blood-covered metal objection that appeared to be from a construction site.”
Police are holding a press conference at 10 a.m. to offer details about the investigation so far.
