Greenpoint This Week: Manhattan Avenue Closings and Planned Openings, Historic District Map, NYC Marathon, and More!
Happy post-Halloween Friday Greenpointers! If you’re still in the holiday spirit, there’s a Día de Los Muertos-themed dance party tonight at Magick City (37 Box St.).
Put your green thumb to use this Saturday and help Transmitter Park’s plants prepare ahead of the frost, and later in the day hangout with your neighbors at Java St. Community Garden for some family-friendly activities.
On Sunday, more than 50,000 runners will pass through the neighborhood for the 2019 NYC Marathon. As usual, the race will pass through Manhattan and Greenpoint avenues, before heading over the Pulaski Bridge via McGuiness Blvd, which will be closed to traffic North of Calyer Street starting at 8 a.m. along with many other Greenpoint street closures. Here’s the complete list of the traffic alerts via the 94th Precinct.
