BED BATH & BEYOND LOOKING HEALTHIER
It seems that the reports of the death of Bed Bath & Beyond have been greatly exaggerated — and that all those signs saying a renovation was coming actually meant… a renovation was coming. Staff told me they did most of the work during business hours, which must have been tricky, and that they all love the new layout. But they also said there’s less product on the floor. CHRISTMAS COMES TO WASHINGTON MARKET PARK
The Friends of Washington Market Park lit the park tree on Friday and with the help of members’ kids, added a few ornaments. Hence they are all at knee level. Santa also made his annual appearance on Saturday, spending about an hour and a half taking requests from a long line of neighborhood kids.
